It is too bad that Gospelr, the Christian version of Twitter, wasn’t around when they were writing the script for Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

During grace, when Cal Naughton Jr. shares his prayer inspiration:
I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagles wings, and singin’ lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I’m in the front row and I’m hammered drunk!

Ricky Bobby could have responded with:
I like to think of Jesus microblogging his thoughts to me through various mobile devices, harnessing the power of lightweight PHP and MySQL architecture to send his divine blessings under 160 characters.
