MTV News is looking for reporters

I posted this bulletin with our MySpace account a few minutes ago:

Calling all citizen journalists, visionaries, bloggers and vloggers!

As part of a collaboration with The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Knight News Challenge, MTV News is looking for one aspiring reporter from every state and Washington, D.C., to be part of our Choose or Lose team. Click here for more info!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MTV News and The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation are looking for 51 aspiring reporters to help MTV News cover the 2008 Presidential election.
I’m happy that MTV News is working to cover election news even on the local level. Read more here.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students/young people at least 18 years old to gain paid experience as journalists, helping to cover the election. Not only will these young reporters bring national attention to their local political sphere, they will make personal and professional connections that will transform their lives in so many ways.
