After checking out the website, the workshops I am most psyched about them providing to the public for low/no cost are:

*Combating the Stereotypes and Misperceptions of Black Women in the Media

*Podcasting 101: Creating Your Own Podcast

*Our World Our Mic: Creating Youth Radio Documentaries

*NODE 101 – learning how to make a videoblog

I saw Beyond Beats and Rhymes: A Hip-Hop Head Weighs in on Manhood in Hip-Hop Culture last summer at a screening given by Rooftop Films series. There was a discussion afterwards, which was an interesting experience since it was held in Prospect Park, combining my love of both large group discussions, being in the park at night, and outdoor films.
